HERO GLAMOUR

Hero MotoCorp’s new Hero Glamour has a 125cc engine, which develops 10.8bhp of maximum power and 10.6Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed
gearbox. Equipped with Hero MotoCorp’s i3S (idle stop-start system) tech, the motorcycle delivers a claimed mileage of 63kmpl. It also has a digital instrument cluster and a USB charging port.

BAJAJ FREEDOM

Bajaj Auto has launched the world’s first CNG motorcycle, the Freedom 125. It comes with dual fuel capabilities, which means a 2-litre auxiliary petrol tank and a 2kg (12.5-litre) CNG tank. This gives the Freedom 125 a claimed combined range of 330km and a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 65kmpl in petrol mode and 102km/ kg in CNG mode. The Freedom 125 is powered by a horizontally-inclined 125cc single-cylinder motor that churns out 9.5bhp of peak power and 9.7Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Ground clearance sits at 170mm.

BMW CE 04

BMW Motorrad India has launched the CE 04, an electric scooter, which just happens to be the most expensive scooter in India (Rs 14.90 lakh ex-showroom). It gets an 8.5kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of 130km. There are two charging options to choose from—2.3kW and 6.9kW. The CE 04 is capable of doing 0-50kmph in a claimed 2.6 seconds. Top speed is 120kmph and seat height is at 780mm. Kerb weight sits at 231kg. It also comes with a 10.25-inch TFT display.
