OnePlus has launched the OnePlus N6 in India, marking the debut of an entirely new N series that sits below the existing Nord lineup. The smartphone ships with two colourways and will go on sale from July 4 via Amazon.

OnePlus N6 specs and features

The OnePlus N6 sports a 6.75-inch HD LCD display with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits in high brightness mode. For durability, the handset also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, which OnePlus claims has scored over 6,15,800 points on AnTuTu. The phone comes with up to 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of onboard storage, and it includes a vapour chamber cooling system with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area for thermal management.

For optics, the OnePlus N6 relies on a single 50-megapixel rear camera and up to 10x digital zoom, while an 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls through the display's hole-punch cutout. The phone can record video at up to 1080p at 60fps and supports a Dual-View video mode.

To keep the lights on, the OnePlus N6 packs a massive 8,000mAh battery that OnePlus says will retain about 80 per cent of its original capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles, translating to up to three days of battery life on a single charge. It supports 45W wired fast charging as well as 6.5W reverse wired charging.

On the software side, the OnePlus N6 is a dual-SIM phone running Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, with OnePlus promising two major OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
