The Vivo T5, in terms of design and specifications, almost appears similar to Vivo’s other model, the S2, as well as its sub-brand iQOO’s Z11.
Vivo T5: Specs and features
The Vivo T5 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel offers up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness, a 93.82 per cent screen-to-body ratio and HDR10+ support. It also comes with SGS certifications for low blue light, low flicker and sunlight visibility.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, paired with a GenAI-ready NPU. Vivo claims the chip can deliver up to 233 per cent faster on-device AI computing. The phone also gets a vapor chamber cooling system to manage heat during gaming and other demanding tasks.
To keep the lights on, the Vivo T5 packs a 7,050mAh battery and supports 44W FlashCharge. Vivo says the battery can last for up to 85 hours of music playback, 34.7 hours of local video playback and up to 7.9 hours of gaming. The company also promises up to five years of battery health.
For photography, the Vivo T5 gets a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The phone also features a 32-megapixel front camera.
The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6.0 and comes with three generations of Android upgrades and five years of security updates.
The Vivo T5 is 7.9mm thick and weighs 199g. In terms of durability, the phone comes with IP68 and IP69 protection to resist dust and water.
