Akasa Air has officially launched operations from Darbhanga Airport in Bihar, marking its first entry into the state. With this launch, Darbhanga becomes the airline’s 28th destination, reflecting Akasa Air’s growing footprint across India.

The airline operates daily throughflights connecting Hyderabad and Darbhanga via Delhi, allowing passengers to travel without changing aircraft at Delhi. This service enhances regional connectivity by linking northern Bihar with major metropolitan cities.

The first flight was flagged off by the Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, in the presence of Vinay Dube, Founder & CEO of Akasa Air, along with senior officials. The maiden flight departed from Delhi at 09:00 hrs and landed in Darbhanga at 10:55 hrs.
