Samsung has launched the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India, expanding its Galaxy F series with a new mid-range smartphone. Amid the global memory and component crisis, the handset arrives with features that are usually seen in more expensive devices, including a Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, and a large 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone will go on sale in India during the upcoming Flipkart Freedom Sale.

Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro specs and features

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone ships with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box, and Samsung has promised six years of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates.

For photography, the Galaxy F70 Pro packs a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It is accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the smartphone features a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera also supports 4K video recording.

The smartphone houses a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Samsung says the battery is designed to comfortably last through a full day of heavy use. Other features include an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro is priced at Rs 25,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB model, and Rs 34,999 for the top-end 8GB RAM and 256GB version.

As part of the launch offer, Samsung is offering the base variant at a special price of Rs 23,999 for a limited period. The smartphone will be available in Aura Green and Alpha Black colour options.

The Galaxy F70 Pro will go on sale in India starting August 8 through Flipkart and Samsung's official online store.
