- It doesn't have the biggest battery out there
It is no secret that smartphone prices are going through the roof, thanks to the memory shortage. When compared to a year ago, phones are more expensive across the board. But in case you are looking to get a bang for your buck today, the OnePlus 13 could be on your shortlist with its Amazon Prime Day deal.
You see, the OnePlus 13, a flagship device launched at Rs 69,999 in India, can be purchased for Rs 49,999. Here is the deal, and why it might make sense for you in 2026.
OnePlus 13 Amazon Prime Day deal
As part of the sale, the OnePlus 13 is listed on Amazon for Rs 54,999. Straightaway, you save Rs 15,000 on the flagship device. And with bank offers, you can grab the OnePlus 13 for just Rs 49,999.
In case you want to save even more, you can consider exchanging your old phone for the OnePlus 13. But the savings in this case will vary depending on what phone you trade in.
At the time of writing, the deal is available on Amazon. The Prime Day sale is set to last till July 6.
A value-for-money flagship in 2026?
2026 has changed the way smartphones are priced. Now, if you want a new flagship, including the OnePlus 15, you need to spend over Rs 80,000. In this scenario, the OnePlus 13 could be a good deal for users who want a no-compromise device under Rs 50,000.
For starters, the OnePlus 13 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM AND UFS 4.0 storage. To give you some context, the Vivo V70 and the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, that cost around the same price, come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
During our review, we found that the OnePlus 13 could easily handle multitasking or even long sessions on games like Genshin Impact without getting too warm.
Decent cameras, good display
Coming to the cameras, the OnePlus 13 gets a triple 50-megapixel setup on the rear – a main, an ultrawide, and a 3x telephoto – that comes with Hasselblad branding, something you don’t get with newer OnePlus devices. This should give you a versatile set-up that can deliver some good results, particularly at this price.
The display on the OnePlus 13 is a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Since it is an LTPO screen, it can go down all the way to 1Hz to save battery, something that has become rare on phones under Rs 50,000.
In our review, we found that the OnePlus 13 can deliver good colours, and with a peak brightness of 4500 nits, the phone also gets sufficiently bright outdoors.
Is there a catch?
While the OnePlus 13 manages to outperform certain phones at this price in some key aspects, it doesn’t have the largest battery out there. At 6,000mAh, the OnePlus 13 falls behind the OnePlus 15R’s 7,400mAh cell, or the iQOO 15R’s 7,600mAh unit.
But this is not to say that the OnePlus 13 has poor battery life. During our time with the device, it could easily cross a whole day of use even under some heavy load. And for light or moderate users, the OnePlus 13 could be a two-day phone. To top it up, you get 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
Considering that prices of new smartphones are unlikely to go down anytime soon as phonemakers continue to face a memory crunch, the OnePlus 13 gets a lot of things right. While it is a generation older than the new OnePlus 15, it can be an option in case you want a flagship experience without cutting too deep of a hole in your pocket.
