  • CRPF and CISF personnel will maintain surveillance at centres nationwide

A comprehensive security framework has been put in place for the NEET UG re-examination, with Central paramilitary forces and cyber intelligence agencies working in coordination, according to official sources.

The plan comes after a high-level review meeting chaired by the Union Home Secretary, where exam security, logistics and cyber monitoring were discussed in detail.

ESCORTS FOR QUESTION PAPERS

As part of the arrangement, escort vehicles will accompany local police teams responsible for transporting question papers and answer booklets to examination centres.

Security agencies, including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), have been deployed to maintain strict surveillance at exam centres across the country.

Officials said the aim is to ensure an uninterrupted and tamper-proof chain of custody from distribution centres to examination halls.

CYBER SURVEILLANCE ON FULL ALERT

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has activated a dedicated monitoring unit to track online threats related to the NEET examination.

This unit will continuously monitor social media platforms and digital channels to trace the origin of any suspicious or viral content linked to question papers or exam misinformation.

Authorities said the move is aimed at preventing the spread of fake leaks, rumours and cyber-enabled disruptions during the examination process.

RAILWAYS JOIN THE SECURITY PLAN

In addition to security forces and cyber agencies, a dedicated railway control room has also been set up to ensure smooth and hassle-free movement of students travelling for the examination.

Officials said coordination between transport agencies and security teams is crucial to avoid delays and ensure candidates reach their centres safely and on time.

COORDINATED NATIONAL EFFORT

The security arrangements have been finalised following the recent high-level meeting led by the Home Secretary. The plan brings together multiple agencies to strengthen physical security, cyber monitoring and logistical support.

Authorities said the objective is to ensure a fair, secure and disruption-free NEET UG re-test across all centres in the country.
