The OnePlus 13 is confirmed to launch in January 2025 in global markets like India. While the brand is keeping its launch date under wraps, the good thing is that we know the possible specs of the device because it recently arrived in China. Here is everything to know.

OnePlus 13: Expected India price

There is no price leak for the OnePlus 13, but the device is expected to be priced under Rs 70,000. To recall, the OnePlus 12 was launched in India for Rs 64,999. So even if OnePlus plans to increase the price of the new version by a few thousand rupees, then the cost will be likely be under Rs 70,000.

OnePlus 13: Specs, features

In China, the OnePlus 13 comes with a 6.82-inch display, the same size as the OnePlus 12, with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. The screen maintains its high brightness levels, offering 1,600nits in regular mode and 4,500nits of peak brightness. However, two key improvements stand out in this model: glove usability and a local high refresh rate feature.

The ability to use the device while wearing gloves is a valuable addition, especially for users in colder regions like Delhi during winter. Additionally, there is a new local high refresh rate feature, which allows the screen to operate on multiple refresh rates dynamically. For example, watching a video may use a lower refresh rate, while scrolling through comments can switch to 60Hz, 90Hz, or 120Hz for a smoother feel. Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

One of the major upgrades in the OnePlus 13 is the battery. The phone comes equipped with a larger 6,000mAh battery, compared to the 5,400mAh unit in the OnePlus 12. The company claims this could deliver nearly two days of usage. The device supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and this year, OnePlus is also introducing magnetic wireless charging via special cases.

On the camera front, the OnePlus 13 retains the 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary sensor from the OnePlus 12, but upgrades its telephoto and ultrawide lenses to 50-megapixels each. The phone also boasts Hasselblad branding and 4K/60fps Dolby Vision video capture.

In terms of durability, the OnePlus 13 is IP68 and IP69 rated, meaning it can survive underwater and withstand high-pressure water jets. Furthermore, it features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for more accurate unlocking, even with wet hands, and a new vibration motor designed to improve the gaming experience.
