Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024 revealed. Check mileage, features, safety

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is one of the most fuel efficient cars in India.

The fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been revealed ahead of its launch in India on November 11. The updated model has exhaustive exterior and interior changes, more safety features and a new engine.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Features

In its fresh avatar, the 2024 Dzire gets several segment-first features. The front has a bold new grille. There are LED Crystal Vision headlamps with LED DRLs, and LED rear combination lamps. The car drives on new 15-inch alloy wheels. Some fresh additions include a shark fin antenna and a boot lid spoiler.

The cabin of the 2024 Dzire is based on that of the 2024 Swift. However, the sedan has a new dual-tone scheme for the dashboard with a wooden-finish garnish. You see features like a new 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys surround sense, 360-degree camera, automatic AC, cruise control, electric sunroof, rear AC vents, rear armrest and Suzuki Connect.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Safety

According to Maruti, the new Dzire is based on the fifth-generation Heartect platform. The car's structure has 45% high tensile steel. There are standard safety features like six airbags, an electronic stability program, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, brake assist, a three-point seatbelt for all seats, and Isofix mounts. Also, rear defogger comes as standard.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Engine & Transmission

The new Dzire uses the same engine as the new Swift. It employs the Z12E 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which develops 81.58PS of maximum power and 111.7Nm of peak torque. It can be clubbed either with a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Mileage

Well, no discussion about a Maruti car is complete without touching on its mileage. The new Dzire does not disappoint at all. It has a handsome fuel efficiency, as high as 24.79kmpl for MT and 25.71kmpl for AMT.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Launch & Bookings

The 2024 Dzire launch in India will take place on November 11. Bookings for the vehicle have already opened for a token amount of Rs 11,000.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire Price

The outgoing Dzire is priced between Rs 6.56 lakh and Rs 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the 2024 Dzire price to be from Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
