OnePlus is bringing another budget-friendly phone to India, adding a new member to its ‘N’ series lineup. Name of the device is OnePlus N6 Lite, and it will break cover on September 22. Ahead of launch, the Chinese company has revealed several details related to specifications and features. However, the company is yet to reveal details like the pricing or offers, which we may learn on the launch day. But before that, here’s everything we know about the OnePlus N6 Lite so far.

What we know about the OnePlus N6 Lite

One of the talking points of the OnePlus N6 Lite is its battery. The smartphone packs a massive 7,000mAh battery, which OnePlus says can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. The company claims the phone can offer up to 26.8 hours of video playback, 29.9 hours of Google Maps navigation and 49.7 hours of phone calls.

And the battery is not just there to keep the N6 Lite running. The phone also supports wired reverse charging, meaning you can use it to give some juice to other devices, including OnePlus audio products. OnePlus also says the battery can retain more than 80 per cent of its health after six years and has been tested through 1,600 charge cycles.

Moving to the front, the OnePlus N6 Lite gets a large 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also comes with Aqua Touch, which is useful when your fingers or the display are wet or have some moisture or oil on them.

Despite carrying that big battery, the phone measures 8.95mm in thickness and weighs around 215g. OnePlus has also given it MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, so the company is positioning the N6 Lite as a phone that can handle everyday bumps and drops.

The phone will be available in two colours, Midnight Hype and Neo Green. It will also come with 36-Month Fluency Protection, which is designed to keep the phone feeling smooth over a longer period.

AI is another part of the package. The OnePlus N6 Lite will feature AI Clear Face and AI Eraser for quick edits and social-media-ready photos. It will also support Google Gemini for everyday tasks, finding information and exploring ideas.

The OnePlus N6 Lite will launch in India on September 22. The company says its price, open-sale details and launch offers will be revealed on the same day. It will be sold through OnePlus' website, the OnePlus Store app, Amazon, OnePlus Experience Stores and select retail outlets.
