NEET UG 2026 re-test: From jammers to CCTV, Alwar prepares for error-free exam
NEET-UG medical entrance re-examination will be held on June 21, with around 10,000 candidates appearing across 27 centres in Alwar. Authorities have deployed strict security measures, including CCTV surveillance, jammers, live monitoring, frisking, and multi-layered arrangements.

Following irregularities reported during the previous examination, the administration and exam authorities have implemented unprecedented security measures this time.
High-definition CCTV cameras, jammers, live monitoring systems, and multi-layered security arrangements have been put in place at the centres. Security protocols have been further strengthened for the re-examination being conducted nationwide on June 21.
The administration has decided to conduct special security checkpoints and intensive inspection drives across the city a day before the exam.
All 27 centres will be placed under CCTV surveillance with live monitoring. Jammers installed at the centres will disrupt mobile network connectivity within a radius of approximately 50 metres, eliminating any possibility of electronic malpractice.
TIGHT SECURITY AT EXAM CENTRES
Babu Shobharam Government Arts College, the district's largest exam centre, will host 720 candidates. The examination will be conducted across 30 rooms, monitored by 38 CCTV cameras. According to the college administration, the movement of every candidate will be tracked through these cameras.
The exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates will be allowed to enter the centres from 11:00 AM, while the main gates will close at 1:30 PM. Entry will not be permitted under any circumstances after this time. The NTA has also issued the schedule and fresh admit cards for the re-examination.
SPECIAL CENTRE FOR DIFFERENTLY-ABLED CANDIDATES
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Moti Doongri, has been designated as a special exam centre to facilitate differently-abled candidates. Necessary amenities will be provided at the centre to ensure that these candidates do not face any inconvenience.
If a candidate visits the restroom during the examination, their exact entry and exit times will be recorded. This measure is aimed at ensuring transparency and effective monitoring of the examination process.
MULTI-LAYERED SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
Personnel from the ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police), district police, and the administration have been deployed to ensure the security of the examination centres. Mobile teams will also remain active to handle any emergency situations.
The Central Government and the NTA have implemented stringent security protocols for the re-examination, including CCTV surveillance, signal jammers, thorough frisking, and secure monitoring of examination materials.
