Royal Enfield has announced the 22nd edition of the iconic Himalayan Odyssey, which will also serve as a celebration of the brand’s 125-year milestone. Widely regarded as one of India’s most legendary motorcycle expeditions, the 2026 edition will be the biggest and most inclusive Himalayan Odyssey yet, featuring four distinct routes across the rugged terrain of Ladakh and the Himalayas.

Registrations for the ride are now live on the company’s official website, with the event set to unfold across the Himalayan Odyssey Original, Explore, Nubra Circuit, and Kargil Circuit formats.

Spanning more than 2,200km through some of the world’s highest motorable passes, the Himalayan Odyssey has, for over two decades, stood as the ultimate test of endurance, camaraderie, and adventure motorcycling. For 2026, Royal Enfield has expanded the format to cater to a wider range of riders, from seasoned expedition veterans to newer explorers seeking a taste of the Himalayas.

The flagship Himalayan Odyssey Original will take place from June 25 to July 10, 2026. The 16-day ride begins and ends in Chandigarh, covering Himachal Pradesh, Zanskar, and Ladakh in a fully supported convoy-style expedition.

Meanwhile, the Himalayan Odyssey Explore edition, scheduled from June 26 to July 5, 2026, is aimed at riders seeking a more demanding and self-reliant experience. With limited support and self-carried luggage, the route promises a more raw and immersive adventure through harsher terrain.

The shorter Kargil Circuit and Nubra Circuit rides will run from June 29 to July 5, 2026, beginning from Leh. These routes focus not just on the ride itself, but also on the culture, heritage, landscapes, and local communities of the Himalayas, offering participants a slower and more experiential journey.

Over the years, the Himalayan Odyssey has become synonymous with conquering legendary mountain passes such as Khardung La and Umling La, while fostering a deep sense of connection among riders navigating the challenging Himalayan landscape.

Royal Enfield also reiterated its commitment to responsible travel through its #LeaveEveryPlaceBetter initiative, which promotes conscious riding practices, minimising environmental impact, and supporting local communities along the route.

With four unique ride formats and a broader focus on inclusivity and immersive travel, the 2026 Himalayan Odyssey marks a significant evolution of one of India’s most iconic motorcycle expeditions.
