Yay 1: A compact flagship with a good screen

The Galaxy S25 is a compact device.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is a compact flagship, with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. During our review, here at India Today Tech, we found the display to be quite vibrant and bright even outdoors. The compact form factor also makes it easier to use the device with one hand.

Yay 2: Decent performance

Coming to the performance. You get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in the Galaxy S25. This makes the device quite capable of handling multi-tasking. The chipset delivers decent performance while playing games like Call of Duty Mobile too.

At this price, you now get devices like the Oppo Find X9s which use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 can still deliver decent performance.

Yay 3: Solid cameras

For those who like to click pictures or take videos, the Samsung Galaxy S25 has a triple camera setup. You get a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN3 main sensor, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultrawide, and a 10 MP Samsung ISOCELL 3K1 3x telephoto sensor.

While the Galaxy S25 is a bit old now, it can still stand on its own in the imaging department against the competition. While you do not get options for a teleconverter kit like the Vivo X300 FE, these cameras are quite capable. On the front, the Samsung Galaxy S25 uses a 12-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL 3LU sensor.

Nay: Samsung Galaxy S26 is available

The Samsung Galaxy S26 is effectively cheaper than the Galaxy S25 now.

While the Galaxy S25 still has a starting price of Rs 74,999, the higher storage variants now cost more than its successor, the Galaxy S26. At the time of writing, the Samsung Galaxy S26 is available for Rs 79,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant on the company’s official website.

That is, if you are planning to spend upwards of Rs 70,000 on a flagship device, you may want to just grab the Galaxy S26 which is the latest from Samsung’s lineup. The Galaxy S26 comes with an updated design and a larger 4,300mAh battery – the Galaxy S25 uses a 4,000mAh cell. The Galaxy S26 uses Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset.
