- NTA had earlier warned of heavy traffic on the website
Several candidates scheduled to appear for the NEET re-examination have reported difficulties in accessing their admit cards on the official website of the NTA.
According to students, the website is displaying messages such as "under maintenance" or showing blank screens when they attempt to enter their bank account details, a mandatory step before downloading the admit card.
The issue comes at a crucial time as candidates are trying to complete the verification process ahead of the examination.
Earlier, the NTA had cautioned students that the portal could experience heavy traffic during the bank detail submission process due to a large number of users accessing the website simultaneously.
As per the agency's guidelines, candidates are required to verify their bank account details for the refund process before they can download their admit cards. Several students said they were unable to proceed beyond this stage because of technical glitches on the portal.
Candidates have taken to social media platforms to raise concerns and seek clarification from the NTA.
Many expressed worry that delays in accessing the portal could affect their ability to download the hall ticket on time.
The NTA has not yet issued a fresh statement on the reported technical issues. Students are advised to keep checking the official website and complete the verification process once the portal becomes fully functional.
