Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, remembered the late actor ahead of the sixth anniversary of his death with an emotional note on Instagram. On Saturday night, she shared an AI-generated image of him as Lord Ram, followed by a set of other pictures, and wrote about his memory, values and the impact he continues to have on people.

In her post, Shweta said the passage of time had not dimmed her brother’s presence. She wrote, "Six years. Time has passed, yet some souls continue to grow larger than time itself." She said she now chooses to remember not how he died, but how he lived, and described him as someone marked by curiosity, compassion and dignity.

Shweta said she thinks of Sushant’s childlike curiosity and his deep fascination with life, the stars, the universe and the mysteries of the human mind. She also wrote that he treated people with dignity, regardless of who they were, and that he taught those around him that success means little if it is not matched by compassion.

Reflecting on grief and memory, she said love does not obey the rules of time, and that even after a person is gone from sight, the impact of a beautiful soul continues to ripple through countless lives.

She added that every time someone chooses kindness over anger, learning over ignorance, hope over despair or love over judgment, a part of what her brother stood for continues to live.

Calling that the greatest tribute to him, she wrote, "Be curious. Be kind. Keep learning. Dream fearlessly. And never let the world harden your heart."

Shweta also said, "The deepest measure of a life is not how long it lasted, but how many hearts it awakened," and added that by that measure, he remains very much alive and continues to inspire millions.

Shweta's reaction to the AI images

The latest post came days after Shweta reacted to AI-generated images imagining Sushant as Lord Ram, after the teaser of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana was unveiled. At the time, she said the visuals had moved her deeply.

She wrote, "The Ram Ji is just not another person, a character but what he stands for are the values we treasure - Maryada, compassion, dignity, courage, truth and his pure love for Sita Maa." She also said that Sushant as Ram felt moving because he appeared to carry the innocence, purity and nobility associated with the character, and added that "nobody in present day and age can play Rama as beautifully as Bhai would have played it".

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020.
