Puri: In a major security beach at Puri Jagannath temple, a drone was spotted flying over the famous shrine once again on Saturday.

According to sources, a young man was flying the drone from the roof of a nearby hotel on Badadanda. The locals spotted the youth and caught him.

A case has been filed in this regard in the Singhdwar police station. The Jagannath Temple has been declared a no-flying zone and flying a drone above the 12th-century shrine in Puri is strictly prohibited.

However, the incident of drones spotted over the Jagannath temple has occurred more than once, raising questions on the security measures of the temple.

This is not the first time drone was spotted over the temple. Four months ago, a 24-second video of a drone flying over the temple had gone viral. The drone footage was shared by an individual named Rabi Prabhu on his Instagram page.
