Mongoose grabs cobra with ‘lightning’ speed, watch viral video

A mongoose was seen grabbing a cobra with ‘lightning’ speed in a video that has so far gone viral. A fight is seen in the video which ends up very early as the mongoose takes only a little time to defeat the dangerous reptile.

IFS officer Sushanta Nanda shared the video on X platform and wrote in the caption, “That was really swift. The instinct of mongoose are really lightning.”

We can see in the video that a cobra with its open hood trying to frighten the approaching mongoose and the fight begins. Initially the cobra grabs a few points as it tries to bite the mongoose twice. Yet, the expert mongoose was intelligent enough to guess the next move of the reptile. In no moment it catches the snake head and the cobra comes completely under his grip. The fight ends with the mongoose winning over the reptile. The main attraction of the video is the lightning speed of the mongoose with which it grabs the snake head.
