Mahindra has scheduled to launch the XUV 7XO in India in the first month of next year that is Janury 2026. Ahead of it’s launch, the pre-bookings for the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO has been opened in India. The XUV 7XO is essentially a mid-lifecycle update of the XUV700 that is currently on sale.
With multiple spy images doing rounds along with a series of official teasers from the carmaker, it is now clear that the XUV 7XO will receive notable styling updates and feature additions, while retaining the existing set of powertrain options.
In terms of design, the Mahindra XUV 7XO will draw inspiration from the recently launched XEV 9S, which serves as its electric counterpart and shares the same body style. The updated SUV is expected to feature a revised front fascia with full-width LED DRLs, bumper-mounted LED headlamps, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and redesigned tail lamps with honeycomb inserts. Mahindra is also likely to introduce new exterior colour options with this update.

Inside the cabin, the XUV 7XO is expected to get a refreshed layout, featuring a triple-screen setup along with new upholstery themes. Borrowing cues from the XEV 9S, feature additions could include an electric boss mode for the co-driver seat, second row window blinds, and foldable tray tables mounted behind the front seats.
Mechanically, the XUV 7XO is expected to continue with the existing engine lineup, comprising the 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Both units will be offered with manual and automatic transmission options.
