A few days ago, the upcoming Bajaj Adventure bike was spotted testing in India. Now, the new Bajaj Adventure bike has been spied testing once again in the country. The new set of spy pictures has provided a clear look at the upcoming Bajaj bike.

The spy images suggest it will be a hardy dual-sport adventure bike. The Hero Xpulse 210 rival could features proper dual-sport styling with a bikini fairing, high-mounted front beak fender, fuel tank with extensions, and a side-mounted upswept exhaust.

The cycle parts appear to be basic, but the offset front telescopic suspension and a linked-tyre rear mono-shock hint at a longer-travel setup, which should lend good off-road pedigree to the motorcycle. Interestingly, the bike seems to be running a 19/17-inch spoke wheel setup, which appears to be odd for a dual-sport ADV. However, it could be an optical illusion, and we will reserve our opinion until more details emerge.

Coming to the heart of the matter, not much is known about the power plant of this bike. Now, Bajaj has an array of engines available in its repository that could power the upcoming adventure bike. However, looking at the bike’s overall packaging, it could potentially use a sub-250cc engine. The engine on the test mule has air fins, hinting at its air/oil-cooled construction.

Given that the bike was spotted testing alongside the Bajaj Pulsar N250, the ADV could use the same 249cc, air/oil-cooled engine from the naked street-fighter. If it indeed gets the 249cc motor, Bajaj could tweak its final drive to suit the adventure bike’s application.

On the features front, the test prototype was seen with a projector headlamp, a fully digital display, and the signature split-LED taillights from the Pulsar. Other features could include LED lighting, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, and switchable dual-channel ABS.

Although an official timeline isn’t known yet, Bajaj could launch the new Adventure bike in India around the festive period. It is expected to rival the likes of the Hero Xpulse 210 and the Kawasaki KLX230. Bajaj may also play the value card and price the bike aggressively in the Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom) bracket.
