One missing after two youths swept away by rainwater in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Two youths are feared drowned due to heavy rainfall near Bagdia Pada on the outskirts of Sambalpur, due to a flash flood.

Gobardhan Chand and Suresh Chandra Maharana were on a motorbike when a large stream of water swept both of them away.

One of the youths, as reported, managed to swim to safety, while the other is missing.

The Fire Services team immediately arrived at the scene upon receiving information and began searching for the missing boy.

But due to a strong current and waterlogged surroundings, the search operation continues; so far, no trace of the missing boy has been found.
