The district administration, in coordination with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has made arrangements for the relocation.

Authorities have put extensive arrangements in place to ensure the smooth relocation of affected residents. The temporary evacuation is intended to keep people away from the designated safety zone while the missile testing exercise is carried out.
Chandipur’s ITR is a key defence testing facility operated by DRDO, where it conducts missile trials. The facility has carried out similar precautionary evacuations during earlier missile tests.
