More specifications of Apple iPhone 16E appear online, likely to launch in April

Specifications about the smartphone have surfaced online from time to time and now we have some idea about the upcoming device. Latest report has mentioned that the device will be launching in April 2025 and tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed some specs of it.
Given the specs of the iPhone 16E it is safe to assume that it will be more close to the iPhone 14 than any iPhone SE device. The device gets a 6.06-inch FHD+ LTPS OLED display that offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. There is also a notch on the iPhone 16E which will adjust the Face ID technology.
The device will offer a flat metal frame along with a single rear camera and water resistance rating. The device will be powered by an Apple A18 chip and this is a massive upgrade as compared to the older SE or the iPhone 14.
The source has revealed that Apple iPhone 16E will be the cheapest iPhone based on the launch price. It is rumoured that the device will be priced at $499. This will be $70 more than the older generation of the SE (2022 model). The Apple iPhone 16E will support Apple Intelligence as it will be powered by 8GB of RAM.
Industry insider Mark Gurman has mentioned that the along with the new iPhone SE we will be getting a new iPad in the first part of 2025. Gurman has announced the above mentioned info on its official X post. The iPhone SE 4 is still in the testing phase with iOS 18.3.
