Sugs Lloyd Limited, a technology-driven engineering and construction company, just landed a big win with a Letter of Award from TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL). The contract is set a little over Rs 1.8 crore. Sugs Lloyd got the official nod yesterday.
Sugs Lloyd will handle the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 KV and 33 KV Fault Passage Indicators along with Data Communicator Units. TPSODL is aiming to modernize its power distribution network, and this project should ramp up efficiency, grid monitoring, and system reliability. The company has 75 days from the release order to get the job done.

On the compliance front, Sugs Lloyd reported the contract to BSE Limited in line with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Rules, 2015. Priti Shah, Whole-Time Director, signed off on the filing the same day. The company made it clear that this isn’t a related-party transaction, and neither the promoter group nor any related companies have any skin in the game with TPSODL.
This new project further strengthens Sugs Lloyd’s expanding foothold in the power infrastructure and smart grid solutions space. They’ve already been making waves in renewables, EPC, and electrical transmission projects. The numbers back it up: in Q4 FY26, the company’s consolidated net profit soared 115.9% year-on-year to Rs 10.88 crore, driven by nearly 90% growth in operational revenue. For context, that’s Rs 115.12 crore in Q4 FY26, up from Rs 60.66 crore the year before.
