The Maruti Brezza facelift has been confirmed to be launched in India on July 23, 2026. This is the first major update for the sub-compact SUV after it’s launch. We expected the facelifted version of the Brezza to get additional features, revised design elements and a new engine option.

Features and design update

The design of the Brezza is expected to be revised in the facelifted version. The Maruti Brezza facelift is also expected to get a feature upgrade including ventilated front seats, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

In addition, reports have also suggested that it might arrive with level 2 ADAS feature, but, this might be limited to only the top versions of the Brezza.

Camouflaged models have indicated that the sub-compact SUV will get a new design for the wheels and slightly revised design in terms of the elements on the face and tail lamps. Maruti will retain the SUV’s boxy silhouette and sub-compact dimensions.

New powertrain expected

Maruti is expected to offer the 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine for the new Brezza, that will make it qualify to get the benefits offered for a sub-4 metre vehicle. This could allow the company to consider reducing the prices. This engine produces 99bhp, 147Nm and can either be had with a five-speed MT or a six-speed AT.

Pricing and rivals

The upcoming Maruti Brezza facelift cost might not differ that much in comparison to the current one, which ranges in between Rs 8.26 lakh and Rs 13 lakh. It could rival Brezza include Maruti Fronx, Toyota Taisor, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Kia Syros, Mahindra XUV3XO, Tata Nexon and the Skoda Kylaq.
