2026 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition launched at Rs. 8.14 lakh

Hyundai has launched the Knight Edition for the 2026 Exter in India. The new Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is priced at Rs. 8.14 lakh, ex-showroom. This makes the new Knight Edition Rs 15,000 costlier than the corresponding standard variants.

The special Knight Edition is offered with the HX 6 petrol manual, HX 6 petrol AMT, HX 6 CNG manual, and HX 10 petrol AMT variants of the Exter. This is the second EXter Knight Edition as the earlier version also got one in 2024.

The Knight Edition remains the same in terms of design and looks as the updated Exter. However, the company has added a dark-themed exterior changes to the updated Exter. It sports matte finish ‘Hyundai’ and ‘Exter’ logos at the front and rear. Meanwhile, a dark grey finish can be seen at the front and rear bumper along with the side of the car.

Hyundai offers the Knight Edition Exter with dark grey styled steel wheels, but, some variants are also available with black alloy wheels. Meanwhile, it sports red brake calipers on the front wheels, which provides it a contrasting look. The Knight lettering could be seen on the tailgate.

The Knight Edition is available in Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey, and Golden Bronze colour shades.

Inside, the cabin has upgraded with a new an all-black theme with brass accents. It also features exclusive black semi-fabric seat upholstery. The cabin has also sports a amber coloured footwell lighting and a black flat-bottom steering wheel in some select variants.

There are no major changes to the equipment list compared with the corresponding standard variants. Depending on the variant, the Exter continues to offer features such as an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, sunroof, rear parking camera and sensors, wireless phone charging and connected car technology.

The Knight Edition does not get any mechanical changes. It continues with Hyundai’s 1.2 litre, petrol engine, which produces 83bhp and 114Nm. It can be paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed AMT. The CNG version uses the same powertrain and produces 69bhp and 95Nm. It is offered exclusively with a five-speed manual gearbox.
