2026 Toyota Innova Hycross India launch date confirmed

Toyota has confirmed the India launch date of the 2026 Toyota Innova Hycross. According to the Japanese maker, the updated Toyota Innova Hycross will be launched in India on 25 November. The Hycross sale began in the country back in 2022. Since then the carmaker has not make any updates for the MPV. So, this will be the first time the MPV will be updated.

The MPV is expected to receive a new grille and sleeker headlamps at the front end. These updates were also seen on test mules. The 2026 Hycross is also expected to be updated  with updated alloy wheels, redesigned bumpers, and revised tail lamps.

The interior is also expected to be updated with same features as the updated Indonesian model. The Indonesian model, known there as the Kijang Innova Zenix features a 12.3-inch touchscreen, replacing the current 10.1-inch unit, and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display in place of the analogue dials with a central MID. Revised seat upholstery, updated infotainment software and new interior colours are also likely.

The pricing will be announced at launch. The Hycross is expected to cost between Rs. 20 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh, ex-showroom. Currently, the MPV gets two powertrain options. The 2.0-litre non-hybrid petrol engine and the 2.0-litre strong hybrid powertrain paired with an eCVT unit. It remains to be seen if Toyota makes any upgrades to this hybrid powertrain to make it compatible with the future norms.
