KIIT & KISS recognised by FIT India Movement as Model Campuses for Vehicle-Free Campus Initiative and felicitated with FERN Award

Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have been recognised by the FIT India Movement as Model Campuses for the Vehicle-Free Campus Initiative and felicitated with the FERN Award.

This recognition gives KIIT and KISS great happiness because it is connected with health, fitness, cycling, clean mobility and care for the environment.

“A bicycle is not only a means of transport. It is a simple friend of health, discipline and nature. At KIIT and KISS, we always try to encourage our students and staff to follow healthy and eco-friendly practices in daily life,” said KIIT & KISS founder Achyuta Samanta.

“I am thankful to FIT India, Sports Authority of India and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, for recognising the efforts of KIIT and KISS,” he added.
