Triumph teases four new models ahead of October 6 unveil, Triumph Bonneville 400 expected

Triumph has scheduled an event for October 6. At the event, the brand will unveil four new models. Ahead of the October 6 event, the company has released a teaser showing the four new motorcycles.

The Triumph Bonneville 400 is expected to be one of the models among the four upcoming motorcycles.

The modern retro model will be the latest addition to the brand’s ‘400’ lineup. It was seen testing on the road several times over the last few months.

The test mules of the bike has been spotted with a new chassis and suspension to suit the classic retro character. It sports gaitered telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers rather than the USD fork and monoshock setup shared by those models. The swingarm also appear to be new.

It has a similar design as the larger T100 and T120. The noticable features of the bike include its teardrop fuel tank, swooping fenders, a flat bench seat, circular headlamp and a peashooter-style exhaust.

The India-spec model will be getting a 349cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, expected to churn out 29hp and 31Nm.

The Bonneville 400 will be the first model in the Bajaj-Triumph lineup to directly take on the traditional retro roadster segment that houses the recently revised Honda CB350 lineup and giants like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet 350.
