PM Modi praises Mayurbhanj youth Ramjeet Tudu for his efforts to promote ‘Santali’ language

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ramjeet Tudu, a youth of Mayurbhanj for his unique efforts to promote ‘Santali’ language.

While addressing to the nation during his 114th Mann Ki Baat programme today, the Prime Minister lauded Tudu saying he is running a campaign to create an online identity of the Santali language.

Modi said that Tudu, with the help of some of his friends, has developed the technique of typing in ‘Ol Chiki’ through which literature related to the Santali language can be read and written in Santali language.

Due to Tudu’s efforts for his mother tongue, today, the Santali language is reaching to millions of people, the PM said.
