Maoists detonates landmine in Chhattisgarh, 5 CRPF jawans injured

Chhattisgarh: At least five CRPF jawans were injured and others narrowly escape when Maoist rebels detonated a landmine on the stretch between Teram and Gudum here on Monday. No casualty was reported but five jawans were injured in the blast.

The landmine basted as 153 CRPF jawans were conducting an search operation in the area. This blast took place about 500 kms away from Chinnageluru camp.

The jawans who were inured in the blast were rushed to the hospital in Bijapur district for treatment. The security personnel have intensified the search opearation in the area.
