Two people arrested over seizure of drugs worth €620k at Shannon Airport

Two people have been arrested following a major drugs seizure at Shannon Airport.

Revenue officers discovered approximately 31 kilos of herbal cannabis worth €620,000 during a search on Tuesday.

A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s were detained and charged in relation to the investigation.

They will appear before Ennis District Court on Wednesday.
