Ambani said that India is set to become an innovation hub and premier digital market on the back of the country’s booming economy, raw talent and digital connectivity infrastructure.

Ranking India at the third position after the US and China in terms of the best digital connectivity infrastructure, Ambani further added that the South Asian nation will be one of the biggest intelligence markets.

Estimating India’s AI growth infrastructure, Huang also mentioned  that by the end of this year, India will have nearly 20 times more computing infrastructure than a year ago.

It is pertinent to note that since its inception, NVIDIA has partnered with more than 2,000 Indian startups including ecommerce major Flipkart, SaaS startup Zoho, Bhavish Aggarwal-led AI unicorn Krutrim and Sarvam AI to develop large language models (LLMs) for Indian languages.

On the healthtech front, the company has partnered with Qure.AI and SigTuple to bring diagnostic solutions in the country.

This comes at a time when India’s AI space is on a rapid growth trajectory.

India is home to more than 100 GenAI startups and these startups have raised more than $600 Mn since 2019.

As per Inc42’s report, the sector is estimated to reach $17 Bn market opportunity by 2030.
