Srinagar, Dec 24: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended warm Christmas greetings to all those celebrating the occasion, urging people to reflect on the true essence of the festival.

In his message, the Chief Minister described Christmas as a blessing for humanity, reflecting peace, love, and compassion. He emphasized the timeless relevance of Jesus Christ’s teachings, which continue to inspire the values of kindness, forgiveness, and harmony in today’s world.

   

“Christmas is not just a celebration; it is a testament to the strength of our collective harmony where every community comes together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The teachings of Jesus Christ remain as significant today as they were then, reminding us to strive for a more peaceful and inclusive world,” the Chief Minister said.

Highlighting the secular fabric of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah praised the spirit of unity and brotherhood that characterizes the region.
