No subway service on Line 1 between Union and St. George stations due to fire: TTC

The TTC says there’s currently no subway service between Union and St. George stations on the Line 1 Yonge-University due to a fire.

There’s no word on when service will resume.

The fire call went out to Toronto Fire at around 5:36 p.m.

It’s not clear where exactly the fire broke out at this point.

“Customers can use east and west bus and streetcar routes to travel in the downtown core and connect with subway service on the Yonge side of Line 1,” the TTC advised in a social media post.
