BMW X6 M60i Launch Price Rs 1.78 Cr – 4.4L V8, 530 bhp, 4.3s 0-100

BMW India has re-introduced their flagship coupe SUV in the country. We’re talking about the new X6, which has made its way back in India. BMW X6 is a stalwart of the whole coupe SUV genre and in its latest avatar, has been launched in India with a rumbling V8 engine under the bonnet with 530 horsepower.

Where pricing is concerned, the new 2026 BMW X6 has been launched in just one range-topping M60i xDrive variant for a price tag of Rs 1.78 Crores (Ex-sh). BMW calls X6 M60i xDrive an SAC, which means a Sports Activity Coupe and it is imported into the country via the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route.

There are six colours to choose from – Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green. Upholstery options are there too, where Sensafin trim is standard and Silverstone, Tacora Red/Black, Black and Cognac are optional. The just launched X6 M60i xDrive is one of those BMWs without a controversial grille.

So, we have conventional kidney grille along with a host of blackened elements to exude sportiness and excitement. Prominent air intakes, adaptive LED headlights and arrow-shaped LED DRLs are notable from the front. From the side, we can see the large 21-inch M Light alloy wheels along with black finish on ORVMs and the unmissable sloping roofline.

At the rear, we can see striking LED tail lights, trapezoidal quad-pipe exhaust, contrasting body coloured elements in rear bumper, wide rear haunches, vertical air channels, subtle spoilers, M60i badge and X6 badge are notable. M Sport Package Pro is standard which brings Red brake callipers, M branded seat belts and more.

On the inside, the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive gets a redesigned interior with the 14.9-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster taking centre stage. Both these screens are positioned in a single housing. Fine wood finishes, gloss metallic effects, ambient light bar with ///M lettering, ventilated seats with memory settings, Harman Kardon audio system, HUD, ADAS, Alcantara headliner, soft-close doors and other elements add to overall panache.

Specs and Powertrains

Dimensionally, BMW X6 M60i xDrive launched in India, measures 4,960 mm in length, 2,004 mm in width, 1,700 mm in height, 2,975 mm long wheelbase, 216 mm ground clearance and a 580L boot. M Sport exhaust, rear wheel steering for enhanced agility, intelligent xDrive AWD system, M Sport differential, active M Suspension and M Sport brakes are other notable elements.

The engine is a new 4.4L Twin Turbo V8 Turbo Petrol V8 engine and is mated to a 48V mild hybrid system for torque assist. This engine is kicking out 530 bhp of peak power and 750 Nm of peak torque, mated to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, making it the most powerful SUV of its segment. 0-100 km/h sprint is promised in 4.3 seconds and top speed is 250 km/h.
