Hero Vida VxZ Electric Motorcycle Might Be Heading To USA

Now, Vida VxZ is spawning a Zero counterpart, which will take the name of Lompico. Zero Lompico concept was revealed in pictures just last month.
Now, the first set of design drawings of this Zero Lompico are out. It shares many of its mechanical components with Vida VxZ electric motorcycle. There is a good probability of Zero Lompico being made in India by Hero MotoCorp and be exported and launched in the USA.
Zero Lompico Electric Motorcycle
Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility division, Vida, is steadily transitioning from an electric scooter manufacturer to being much more than that. Since 2023, Hero MotoCorp has funnelled around USD 60 Million into Zero. The company’s strategic collaboration with California-based Zero Motorcycles has spawned VxZ electric motorcycles (Vida x Zero).
Last year, Zero Motorcycles revealed the Limpico concept in blurry pictures and a clay model in development stages. Now, design drawings of Zero Lompico have leaked ahead of a formal debut, showing its radical design language that strictly follows the concept. Looking at Hero Vida VxZ and Zero Lompico, one can draw multiple similarities.
For starters, both motorcycles use the same wheels and braking components along with the same trellis frame on which these components are mounted. Other similar components include front USD telescopic forks, rear mono-shock setup, fancy swingarm, TFT instrument cluster, street-style handlebars and rear license plate holder mounted on the swingarm, among others.
Design is one element where Hero and Zero take complete departures from one another. That is because the sporty and contemporary Vida VxZ looks subtle when we put it side-by-side to Zero Lompico. With a bold and radical styling, Zero Lompico sets itself apart. It seems to be going for a retro-futuristic design theme, which will turn heads.
What to expect?
It has a unique front-end design with a wide LED DRL signature that almost spawns the entire width. There is a central headlight element and a squarish TFT instrument cluster on top of it. Fuel tank area and side body panels appear to be sculpted out of a single-piece, which lends it an interesting aesthetic.
Where powertrains are concerned, Zero Motorcycles has confirmed that Lompico will come with an 8.8 kWh battery pack, which will send juice to a single mid-mounted electric motor, rated at around 40 bhp of peak power and instantaneous torque. Similar components may be used by Vida VxZ as well.
