TVS Motor had updated the Raider 125 in April 2026, but this tech-loaded commuter motorcycle is updated yet again. This update comes just ahead of the auspicious festive season where tendency to buy an automobile is quite high among Indian audiences. Raider 125 gets its second update in just months after its last update to make it more appealing for buyers.

As part of this new update to their stylish commuter motorcycle, TVS Motor has made it safer, more confidence-inspiring, offer better ridability with more refined aesthetics. This comprehensive update also comes with a slight price revision which takes the price up to Rs 1.04 lakh (Ex-sh), which is around Rs 4k more than before.

Ahead of the festive season, TVS Raider 125 has been updated again to boost sales and increase footfall into the showrooms. Higher variants like TFT DD, SXC DD and SSE trims seems to have been updated. These updates do not still reflect in the compay’s website and brochure, but units with updated equipment have been reaching showrooms.

As seen in the video by Machine Rules, we can see the updated units reach showrooms, showing all the additions TVS Motor has given to their budget commuter. The main attribute is the addition of dual channel ABS, which is not common in 125cc and even in 150cc motorcycle segments. With dual ABS, riders will feel more confident while braking.

Also new, is the Traction Control system which is switchable too. The combination of dual-channel ABS and traction control should provide a sense of security and confidence among buyers that rivals do not offer. Another update we can see is fatter rear tyre, which is now a 120-section unit, up from 110-section. Smaller rear petal disc brake is now upgraded to a larger, but conventional disc.

USB Type-C port is part of the package, allowing new-age users to charge their devices along their journey. Prospective buyers would have appreciated LED turn indicators, which rivals are offering. Raider 125 soldiers ahead with halogen bulbs. Depending on the variant, Raider 125 comes with TFT instrument cluster, which supports a host of connected features and navigation too.

Any Powertrain Changes?

Other than these features upgrades, TVS Raider 125 remains the same mechanically. It still has the same 125cc air / oil cooled engine with a 3V head and a bass-y exhaust note. This engine generates around 11 bhp and 11 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Features like LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, premium switchgear, riding modes, split seat option, telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock and other attributes are carried forward.
