At the rear, Innova Hycross facelift is expected to continue with the existing tail lamps. Turn indicators appear to be using incandescent bulbs, just like the current model. However, the brake lights appear to be new, featuring a seamless LED strip. The brake lights on the current Hycross have four individual LEDs.

New features

Inside, recent spy shots have revealed the presence of a larger touchscreen infotainment system. It is at least around 12 inches or more. The larger touchscreen could also get an updated OS. The current Hycross model utilizes a 10.1-inch touchscreen. It is possible that the digital console could also gain in size and get updated graphics. The current model utilizes a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster.

Based on consumer feedback, Toyota could also be looking to improve overall fit and finish. NVH levels could be another area where Hycross facelift could see tangible improvements. Other desirable items include electrically powered front passenger seat, illuminated window and door lock switches. Hycross facelift could get an improved 360 degree camera, new connected features, ventilated second row seats and a more premium music system with Dolby Atmos.

Innova Hycross current model already has premium features such as R18 alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof with mood lighting and roof mounted AC vents. A range of first-in-segment features are available such as dual function DRL + indicator, ventilated front seats, power back door, rear sunshade, multi zone AC, electrochromic IRVM and powered Ottoman seats with long slide.

Flex Fuel possible

While retaining the existing powertrain options, it is likely that Flex Fuel option could be introduced with Innova Hycross facelift. The current model has 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre strong hybrid powertrain options. The former generates 173 hp and 204 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT transmission. Hycross 2.0 self-charging strong hybrid integrates a 113 hp electric motor, generating combined power output of 183.7 hp. This powertrain is equipped with an e-CVT transmission.
