New Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Satin Desert Myst Colour Launched

Mahindra has expanded the colour palette of its flagship XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition with the introduction of a new Satin Desert Myst exterior finish. The new paint option joins the existing Satin Black and Satin White colours that were launched back in March 2026.

New Satin Desert Myst Colour

Since its launch on March 1, 2026, Mahindra says the XEV 9e Cineluxe has emerged as a preferred choice among celebrities, television personalities, entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives. With the addition of Satin Desert Myst, the company is offering customers another exclusive finish to complement the SUV’s premium positioning.

The new exterior colour is paired with the edition’s signature Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette interior, maintaining the same luxurious cabin theme introduced earlier this year. The company says the new shade is aimed at buyers looking for a more distinctive and sophisticated appearance while retaining the luxury-focused character of the Cineluxe Edition.

Based On Top-spec Pack Three

Mahindra has not announced any mechanical or feature changes alongside the new colour. Pricing also remains unchanged at Rs 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Like before, the XEV 9e Cineluxe continues to be based on the fully-loaded Pack Three variant. It is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack that delivers over 500 km of real-world driving range, while retaining the complete equipment list available with the flagship trim.

The SUV continues to offer Mahindra’s immersive cabin experience centred around the coast-to-coast triple HD display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, Infinity Roof and configurable ambient lighting. Other premium features include the StraightAhead VisionX augmented reality head-up display, EyeDentity driver and occupant monitoring, HandsFree Park auto parking assist, Secure360, Digital Key, personalised user profiles and dedicated Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes.

Strengthening The Premium EV Line-up

Rather than introducing a new variant, Mahindra has refreshed the Cineluxe Edition with an additional exclusive colour option to keep the flagship XEV 9e offering fresh in the market. The Satin Desert Myst finish is expected to appeal to buyers looking for a more understated yet premium appearance compared to the existing Satin Black and Satin White options.

With the XEV 9e and BE 6 continuing to post strong sales in the premium electric SUV space, Mahindra is gradually expanding the appeal of its Electric Origin range through limited editions and exclusive styling updates. The addition of Satin Desert Myst further reinforces the Cineluxe Edition’s positioning as the brand’s most luxurious electric SUV offering.
