200cc To 350cc Motorcycle Sales July 2026 – Ronin, Pulsar, KTM, Apache RTX, Avenger, V Strom
by Pearl Daniels · RushLaneEarlier, we discussed motorcycle sales in the 150cc to 200cc segment as well as the 350cc to 450cc segment. Now, let us take a look at the segment between these two, the 200cc to 350cc segment. This motorcycle segment recorded strong year-on-year growth in July 2026. Combined sales of the motorcycles covered in this analysis stood at 26,792 units, compared to 14,335 units in July 2025. Sequentially, sales were relatively stable, declining 1.79% from 27,279 units in June 2026.
200cc To 350cc Motorcycle Sales July 2026 – TVS Ronin Crosses 10k Units Again
TVS Ronin was the segment leader with 10,738 units sold in July, up 94.63% from 5,517 units a year earlier. Sales also increased 5.72% MoM from 10,157 units in June. Ronin alone accounted for 40.08% of the segment volumes covered here.
Ronin’s recent performance is particularly noteworthy considering its journey since launch in 2022. Sales were relatively modest during its initial phase, when sales were in the triple-digit territory. Volumes have gradually improved since then, and the motorcycle has now delivered more than 10,000 units in both June and July 2026. This consistency has helped Ronin establish itself at the top of this displacement segment.
Pulsar 220F Continues Strong Second Innings
Bajaj Pulsar 220 was second with 6,832 units, registering 56.63% YoY growth over 4,362 units in July 2025. However, sales declined 19.63% MoM from 8,501 units in June. KTM 250 range took third place with 3,741 units, up 92.84% YoY from 1,940 units. MoM sales were nearly flat, declining just 0.93%.
Pulsar 220F has had an interesting journey in Bajaj’s portfolio. It was discontinued in 2021 as Bajaj moved towards the newer Pulsar 250 platform. But with Pulsar 250 failing to generate the expected volumes initially, Pulsar 220F was brought back in 2023. Both product lines have since continued in Bajaj’s portfolio. The 220F’s current sales indicate that the older platform continues to command substantial demand despite the availability of newer Pulsar models.
Apache RTX Helps TVS 300cc+ Range Expand
Another major development can be seen with TVS Apache 310 / RTX numbers. Combined sales reached 2,239 units in July 2026, compared to just 498 units in July last year, resulting in 349.60% YoY growth. Sales also increased 20.70% from 1,855 units in June.
Earlier, TVS’ presence around this displacement category was primarily driven by Apache RR 310 and later RTR 310, with monthly volumes around the 500-unit level in the July 2025 comparison. The addition of Apache RTX adventure motorcycle has significantly expanded the addressable market for TVS, and the impact is now clearly visible in the combined sales numbers.
V-Strom 250 Posts Strong Growth
Bajaj Avenger 220 registered 1,120 units, up 219.09% YoY, although sales fell 6.35% MoM. Suzuki V-Strom 250 delivered 904 units, recording 72.19% YoY and an impressive 66.48% MoM growth. Bajaj Dominar 250 was at 441 units, down 15.36% YoY. Hero Xtreme 250R was at 322 units, down 12%. Kawasaki KLX 230 registered 220 units, while Ninja 300 recorded 158 units. Suzuki Gixxer 250 was at 61 units and Kawasaki Versys 300 at 14 units.
OEM-wise, TVS led with 12,977 units and 48.44% share, registering 115.74% YoY growth. Bajaj Group followed closely with 12,135 units and 45.29% share, up 68.52%. Together, the two controlled 93.73% of the segment. Suzuki ranked third with 965 units, while Kawasaki posted strong 213.60% growth from a relatively small base. Hero declined 13.40% YoY, while Yamaha recorded zero sales.
