Honda Cars Sales Dec 2025 At 5,807 Units – Registers YoY, MoM Growth

The company has big ambitions to turn around its image in the country. There will be a product onslaught from Honda with as many as 10 new launches by 2030.
For the month of December 2025, Honda Cars India Ltd sold a total of 8,159 units. This was a combined number including both domestic sales and exports. When compared to the 9,460 units sold in December 2024, there was a 13.75% YoY decline in total sales, losing 1,301 units in volume YoY. Let’s break down these numbers further.

For the month of December 2025, Honda Cars India Ltd sold a total of 8,159 units. Splitting this number further, we can see that Honda sold 5,807 units in the domestic market and shipped 2,352 units to global markets including Japan. Notable exports to Japan include WR-V SUV, which is sold in India as Elevate.
The 5,807 units sold in the domestic market registered a 3.64% YoY growth over 5,603 units sold in December 2024, yielding a 3.64% YoY growth and a 204 units volume growth. Exports, however, saw a sharp decline of 39.02% YoY over 3,857 units shipped in December 2025, leading to a volume loss of 1,505 units.
Monthly sales analysis for the domestic market yielded interesting results for Honda Cars India Ltd. The 5,807 units sold in December 2025 ensured that there was a 3.64% YoY growth when compared to the 5,603 units sold in December 2024. This led to a volume growth of 204 units YoY.
When compared to the 5,204 units sold in November 2025, Honda witnessed a positive 11.59% MoM growth, which led to a volume gain of 603 units. The company currently has three vehicles in its portfolio. The lineup starts with Amaze which recently scored 5 Stars in BNCAP crash test, City sedan which is set to get a facelift and Elevate SUV which recently got a special Adventure Edition.
Q4 CY25 Sales
In Q4 of CY25, Honda sold a total of 25,865 units, which garnered a stern 14.54% YoY decline in sales when compared to 20,266 units sold last year in December 2024. Breaking up the numbers, we can see that 17,405 of them were sold in the domestic market with 7.74% YoY growth and 8,460 units were shipped to global markets leading to a 40.05% MoM decline.
