BGauss C12 MaxR Electric Scooter Launch Price 1.46 L – 178 km Range, TFT

Indian electric 2W mobility solutions providing startup, BGauss, has expanded its electric scooter portfolio with the launch of C12 MaxR. This electric scooter gets a special introductory offer with pricing from Rs 1.45 lakh (effective Ex-sh). Range, distinctive design and intelligent utility are the main focus with BGauss C12 MaxR.

The colour options for BGauss MaxR include Sparkling Wine with Champagne Gold, Terra Green with Champagne Gold, Pearl White and Satin Black. Where design is concerned, BGauss C12 MaxR is a slightly sporty electric family format electric scooter and it starts from Rs 1.45 lakh (effective Ex-sh, Introductory).

Headlights are present in the handlebar cowl and there are vertical contrasting stripes on handlebar cowl and front apron. Side body panels start from the apron and extend slightly beyond the flat floorboard. Seat cover gets two-tone leatherette finish and rear single-piece grabrail are notable.

BGauss C12 MaxR rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, unlike the 16-inch wheels on BGauss RUV350. Front disc brake, rear drum brake, front telescopic forks, gas-charged rear shock absorber, 160 mm ground clearance and up to 150 kg payload capacity are notable too.

Intelligent Utility, Powertrains

The 38L underseat storage can accommodate up to 2 helmets and then there are intelligent storage solutions like pop-out umbrella holder, lockable compartment for documents and wallet, wireless charging, mobile storage, bottle storage and then a dedicated space for a cleaning cloth. The company claims that the flat floorboard can accommodate a medium sized suitcase too.

There is a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with BGauss C12 MaxR which supports features like trip computers, ride and charging info, range prediction, battery SOC and more. On top of these, there will be Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, notifications, turn-by-turn navigation and many other features.

Powering the BGauss C12 MaxR is a 3.8 kWh battery pack which brings LFP cell chemistry. Promised max range is 178 km on a single charge and this battery sends juice to a hub motor positioned on the rear wheel. Peak power is 4.2 kW and top speed is 75 km/h. Cruise control, reverse mode, three riding modes (Eco, Ride and Sport) and other attributes are notable.
