Tata Sales Breakup June 2026 – Punch, Nexon, Tiago, Sierra, Harrier, Altroz, Curvv, Safari, Tigor
by Pearl Daniels · RushLaneTata Motors reported domestic passenger vehicle sales of 62,076 units in June 2026, registering a strong 67.40% YoY growth compared to 37,083 units sold in June 2025. On a month-on-month basis, sales also improved by 5.05% over the 59,090 units dispatched in May 2026.

Punch, including Punch EV, retained its position as Tata’s best-selling product with 21,006 units sold in June, accounting for 33.84% of the company’s total sales. The model registered a robust 101.09% YoY growth and also improved 3.95% over May 2026. Nexon, including Nexon EV, remained the second-best seller at 18,335 units, growing 58.03% YoY, although volumes dipped marginally by 4.01% compared to May. Punch and Nexon were also the top 2 selling cars of India last month.
Tiago, including Tiago EV, had a strong month with 7,329 units, up 21.50% YoY and a significant 75.42% MoM improvement, making it one of the biggest monthly gainers in Tata’s lineup. Sierra recorded 6,392 units in June, slightly lower than May’s 6,606 units.
Harrier, including Harrier EV, delivered 2,962 units, registering the highest YoY growth among existing Tata models at 135.27%. Safari also posted healthy growth with 1,271 units, up 37.85% YoY. Among the slower performers, Altroz declined 38.95% YoY to 2,426 units, while Curvv, including Curvv EV, fell 14.90% to 1,753 units. Tigor, including Tigor EV, also ended the month lower at 602 units, down 23.60% YoY.

For the second quarter of CY2026 (April-June), Tata sold 1,80,166 passenger vehicles, up 45.48% YoY from 1,23,839 units in the corresponding quarter last year. Punch continued to dominate Tata’s portfolio with 60,321 units, growing 67.21% YoY and contributing 33.48% of total company sales. Nexon followed with 55,561 units, registering 38.37% YoY growth and accounting for nearly 31% of Tata’s quarterly sales.
Sierra emerged as Tata’s third best-selling model in its first full quarter on sale, recording 20,314 units and contributing 11.28% to total sales. While the initial booking response had been strong before deliveries commenced earlier this year, its monthly volumes have settled around the 6,000-7,000 unit mark over the past three months.
Tiago slipped to fourth position with 16,995 units, down 17.96% YoY. Harrier, boosted by the arrival of Harrier EV, saw the highest growth among existing nameplates, surging 162.94% YoY to 8,322 units. Altroz recorded 7,927 units, down 11.18%, while Curvv declined sharply by 41.54% to 4,836 units. Safari improved 12.58% to 3,795 units, whereas Tigor dropped 33.70% to 2,095 units.
Overall, Punch and Nexon continued to account for nearly two-thirds of Tata’s passenger vehicle sales, while Sierra established itself as the company’s third-largest contributor for the quarter. Tata’s strong performance also reflects the growing contribution of its EV portfolio, led by Punch EV and the recently launched Harrier EV. With Sierra EV now launched and customer deliveries set to begin shortly, Tata could see another boost in Sierra volumes over the coming months.
