Honda ADV160 Deliveries Delayed From Oct 2026 To 2027 – Reveals Official Website

Buyers waiting for the Honda ADV160 will have to wait longer. Launched in India on August 25 at Rs 1.70 lakh, the adventure-style scooter was originally scheduled to reach customers from mid-October 2026. However, an updated disclaimer on Honda’s website now indicates that deliveries will begin after New Year 2027.
This points to a delay of roughly three months if deliveries commence in early January. Honda has not specified an exact revised date, with the latest wording leaving the delivery window open beyond the start of 2027.
Honda ADV160 Delivery Timeline Revised
At the time of launch, Honda had opened bookings for Rs 5,000 through the HMSI website and authorised dealerships. The same announcement confirmed that deliveries would commence from mid-October 2026, giving customers a festive-season timeline for the scooter’s arrival.
The website now carries a different message: “Detailed configurations, and complete specifications will be unlocked closer to deliveries. Deliveries will commence after the New Year 2027.”
The revised disclaimer changes the delivery timeline announced in August. It also indicates that buyers will receive further details about configurations and specifications closer to customer deliveries. No reason for the postponement is mentioned in the disclaimer.
Launched At Rs 1.70 Lakh
Honda introduced the ADV160 at Rs 1.70 lakh, positioning it in the premium scooter segment. Its adventure-inspired styling, E85 flex-fuel compatibility and connected features were among the key highlights announced at launch.
The updated delivery notice does not mention a price revision. For customers who booked expecting an October handover before Diwali, the immediate change is the longer waiting period. A more precise delivery schedule will be needed to establish when the first customer units will arrive.
Connected Features And Traction Control
ADV160 features a TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. These features add everyday convenience to its adventure-style positioning. Honda Selectable Torque Control is another highlight, designed to help reduce rear-wheel slip on loose or slippery surfaces. Braking equipment includes disc brakes at both ends, supported by single-channel ABS.
E85 compatibility is a further distinguishing feature, adding a flex-fuel option to India’s premium scooter market. Together, these features position the ADV160 as an alternative for buyers considering models such as the Yamaha Aerox and Hero Xoom 160.
