2026 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition Launch Price Rs 19.90 Lakh – New Colours, Features

The standard Hayabusa is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh, with both versions receiving a lighter battery and electronic refinements

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Hayabusa Special Edition at Rs 19.90 lakh, alongside an updated standard Hayabusa priced at Rs 18.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The flagship motorcycle gains exclusive styling in Special Edition form, while the wider update introduces three new colour combinations and refinements to its rider assistance systems.

Hayabusa Special Edition – What’s Different?

The Special Edition commands a premium of Rs 91,000 over the standard motorcycle. Both versions are now available across Suzuki Motorcycle India dealerships nationwide. Hayabusa Special Edition is offered in exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue, complemented by special decals and a distinctive wheel finish. It also receives a three-dimensional Suzuki emblem and a Special Edition potting emblem on the fuel tank.

Further additions include anodised muffler-end and heat-guard components. A single-seat cowl is supplied as standard equipment, adding to the motorcycle’s sporty appearance. These changes give the Special Edition a distinct identity while retaining the familiar Hayabusa silhouette. The sculpted bodywork and aerodynamic design remain central to the motorcycle’s character.

Three New Colours For Standard Hayabusa

Alongside the Special Edition, Suzuki has refreshed the standard Hayabusa with three colour combinations:

1. Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black
2. Metallic Galaxy Gray / Candy Burnt Gold
3. Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Brilliant White

The new finishes give buyers a wider choice without changing the motorcycle’s established design. Suzuki says the additions aim to offer a more exclusive ownership experience while preserving the Hayabusa’s balance of performance, technology and styling.

Lighter Battery, Revised Electronics

The updates extend beyond colours and finishing details. Both the latest Hayabusa and Hayabusa Special Edition receive a new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery. Suzuki describes it as lighter and more compact, with more stable voltage delivery under load.

The Launch Control System and Power Mode Selector also receive revised settings. Another practical improvement concerns Smart Cruise Control, which now remains active during gear shifts. This allows riders to change gears without disengaging cruise control or having to hold the throttle open to maintain the selected speed. The motorcycle continues to offer a Motion Track Traction Control System, bi-directional quickshifter, Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist and Slope Dependent Control System.

Familiar 1,340cc Inline-Four Engine

Power comes from the Hayabusa’s 1,340cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder DOHC engine. The engine remains a defining part of the motorcycle’s appeal, with its broad torque delivery suited to strong acceleration. Suzuki has also used its Exhaust Sound Quality Evaluation Program to tune the exhaust note, aiming for a powerful sound at start-up without making regular riding uncomfortable.

The mechanical package includes a twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm, adjustable KYB inverted front forks and Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres. Front braking is handled by Brembo Stylema callipers with twin 320 mm full-floating discs.

Suzuki says the bodywork has undergone extensive wind-tunnel testing to provide wind protection in both normal and fully tucked-in riding positions, while supporting stability at higher speeds. LED lighting is also part of the equipment package. Suzuki Genuine Accessories and Hayabusa riding apparel are also available.
