New Renault Duster Discounts And Benefits Up To Rs 1.8 Lakh – Sep 2026
by Nabanita Singha Roy · RushLaneRenault India has announced benefits of up to Rs 1.8 lakh on new Duster in September 2026. What makes the offer notable is its timing, as new-gen Duster was launched only earlier this year and this is the first time the SUV is being offered with such benefits.
Up To Rs 1.8 Lakh Benefits
For September 2026, select Duster variants are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 1.8 lakh. This includes a cash discount of up to Rs 30,000 along with an exchange or scrappage benefit of up to Rs 50,000.
Existing Renault customers upgrading to Duster can get a loyalty benefit of Rs 10,000. More significantly, owners upgrading from an older-generation Duster can avail a loyalty benefit of up to Rs 1 lakh.
Therefore, the headline Rs 1.8 lakh benefit isn’t a straight cash discount available to every customer. The maximum amount depends on eligibility for the different schemes, particularly the old-Duster loyalty programme. New Duster is currently priced between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 18.49 lakh.
Duster Sales Drop After April High
New Renault Duster started registering volumes in March 2026, when 1,402 units were sold. Sales increased to 2,359 units in April, which remains its highest monthly figure so far. Since then, volumes have declined for three consecutive months.
Sales dropped to 1,267 units in May and 1,011 units in June. In July 2026, Duster sales fell further to just 512 units. That represents a decline of around 78% from the April high. Between March and July 2026, Duster accumulated sales of 6,551 units, averaging around 1,310 units per month.
The numbers also put Duster significantly behind several established midsize SUVs. Hyundai Creta averaged 15,640 units per month during January-July 2026, while Maruti Victoris averaged 12,178 units and Kia Seltos 10,764 units.
Festive Season Push For Duster
Renault is also offering benefits on the rest of its portfolio this month. Kiger gets benefits of up to Rs 85,000, while Triber and Kwid are available with benefits of up to Rs 50,000 and Rs 40,000, respectively.
For Duster, however, the timing stands out. After reaching 2,359 units in April, sales declined every month through July. Introducing the first set of customer benefits ahead of the festive season could help Renault generate fresh interest and improve showroom conversions. In related news, Renault Duster based pickup has just made global debut. Hybrid Duster is expected next year.
Note – Offers can vary depending on variant, location and stock availability, so customers will need to check applicable benefits with their local Renault dealer.
