Bajaj Pulsar NS200, NS400Z TFT Variants Reach Showroom Before Launch

Classic Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 were recently fully overhauled with next gen platform and engine. While other Pulsar lineups like Pulsar N and Pulsar NS are subjected to subtle updates with new features and equipment to keep them fresh and competitive.
We recently experienced the launch of Pulsar NS400Z with a new downsized 350cc engine and now it is updated yet again. Alongside it, Pulsar NS200 is also updated with similar attributes. We’re talking about a new TFT instrument cluster with Google Maps mirroring with both and then new WP Apex USD front forks with Pulsar NS200.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200, NS400Z TFT Variant
It was the Pulsar N160 4V which debuted Bajaj’s new TFT instrument cluster. This is a 5-inch unit with crisp resolution and decent brightness and sunlight legibility. This cluster supports both Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity and this has allowed Bajaj to offer Google Maps streaming and then many more connected features.
Now, this TFT cluster was also offered with next gen Classic Pulsar 150 and Classic Pulsar 125 later on. Same cluster is now being extended to more enthusiastic and performance-oriented models like Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z. Not only do they get the new TFT screen, they benefit with new switchgear to operate this cluster as well.
Bajaj’s new smartphone application will unlock Google Maps mirroring and for Android users, Google Maps mirroring works even with phone screen off, which is a major plus in our books. Apart from Google Maps mirroring, features like music control, third party app notifications and call alerts will be a part of this experience.
Also, this cluster supports digital document storage support for DL, Insurance and RC. There is a good probability of Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z TFT variants to support lap timer and acceleration timer as well.
WP Apex USD Forks With NS200
Pulsar NS200 is getting a major update to its instrument cluster and switchgear like NS400Z. However, Bajaj Auto is also updating its cycle parts with more premium components. We’re talking about the WP Apex USD telescopic front forks with Pulsar NS200, which used to be reserved only to KTM and Husqvarna bikes.
While it is not confirmed, Bajaj might give Pulsar NS200 TFT variant fatter radial tyres and even sintered brake pads to offer more confidence for rider. Powertrains are likely to remain the same with both Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS400Z TFT variants. An official launch and new updated prices is likely to be made public soon.
