Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition Launch Price Rs 26.70 L – Only 85 Units

Jeep India has expanded its 85th anniversary celebrations with the launch of a special Compass 85th Anniversary Edition. Limited to just 85 units across India, the new edition gets exclusive cosmetic touches along with additional accessories and safety-related equipment. Prices for Compass 85th Anniversary range start at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The special edition follows Jeep’s global celebrations marking 85 years of the brand. Rather than introducing any mechanical changes, Jeep has focused on making this version of Compass more distinctive through exterior and interior updates and a curated range of accessories.

Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition – What’s New?

On the outside, Compass 85th Anniversary Edition gets 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Gloss Black. These are accompanied by anniversary-themed detailing and commemorative elements that distinguish the limited edition from the regular Compass range.

Jeep has retained the familiar overall design of Compass, including its seven-slot grille, LED lighting and muscular proportions. With only 85 examples planned for India, exclusivity is one of the primary highlights of this edition.

Changes continue inside, where Jeep has opted for an all-black cabin theme complemented by Mayan Gold accents. Contrast detailing and special anniversary elements have also been added to differentiate the cabin from standard variants.

New Digital IRVM, Dashcams And Sunroof Illumination

A more significant part of the anniversary package comes in the form of additional equipment. Jeep is offering specially curated 85th Anniversary AXS Personalization Packages with the limited edition.

Among the additions is a Digital IRVM (inside rear-view mirror), accompanied by front and rear dashcams. This should prove particularly useful for recording incidents while driving and provides an additional layer of convenience and security.

Another interesting addition is SkyLounge / sunroof illumination, which adds ambient lighting around the sunroof area. Ambient cabin lighting and various other personalization elements are also available as part of the anniversary accessories package. These features are primarily accessory-based additions rather than changes to the core equipment or architecture of Compass.

Familiar 2.0L Diesel Engine

There are no mechanical changes announced for Compass 85th Anniversary Edition. It continues with the familiar 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo diesel engine used across the Compass range.

The four-cylinder diesel engine produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. Depending on the variant, Compass is offered with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Jeep also offers its 4×4 system on the higher-spec Compass variants.

Compass has been on sale in India since 2017 and remains one of Jeep’s most important products in the country. It is manufactured at the Stellantis facility in Ranjangaon near Pune.

Only 85 Units For India

What makes this edition different from the numerous special editions generally introduced in the market is its particularly small production run. Jeep has confirmed that only 85 units of Compass 85th Anniversary Edition will be available across India.

Bookings have commenced through authorised Jeep dealerships as well as the company’s online sales channel. With prices starting at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the anniversary edition primarily targets premium mid-size SUV buyers looking for additional exclusivity and equipment rather than any change in performance.
