125cc Motorcycle Sales July 2026 – Shine, Raider, Pulsar, Splendor, Glamour, Xtreme, Hornet, Freedom

This has posted strong growth in July 2026, driven primarily by the Honda Shine and SP125 range. Combined sales of the motorcycles listed in the segment reached 2,82,726 units, registering 16.89% YoY growth over 2,41,864 units sold in July 2025. Compared to June 2026 sales of 2,64,897 units, volumes improved by 6.73% MoM.
125cc Motorcycle Sales July 2026
Honda Shine + SP125 continued to dominate the 125cc motorcycle space with 1,76,756 units sold in July 2026. Sales increased by 27.47% YoY from 1,38,665 units and improved by 15.97% MoM from 1,52,415 units. TVS Raider was a distant second with 34,125 units. While sales declined 7.73% MoM from 36,983 units, Raider posted an impressive 39.22% YoY growth, compared to 24,511 units in July last year. Its segment share stood at 12.07%.
Pulsar 125 Sales Decline 38%
Bajaj Pulsar 125 and NS125 combined sales stood at 25,604 units, placing them third. This was a 2.60% MoM decline from 26,288 units. More significantly, sales fell 38.01% YoY, with volumes declining by 15,702 units from 41,306 units in July 2025. Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 125, which is likely to result in sales growing in coming months.
Hero Splendor 125 emerged as another notable performer. Sales increased to 17,999 units, up 44.13% YoY from 12,488 units. MoM performance was positive as well, increasing 11.32% from 16,168 units. Hero Glamour followed with 12,995 units. It registered 21.49% YoY growth, although sales declined 7.36% compared to June. Hero has recently launched Glamour with ABS.
Hero Xtreme 125R recorded 9,696 units in July, down 21.09% YoY and 26.66% MoM. The sharp sequential decline meant volumes fell by 3,524 units compared to June’s 13,220 units. Honda Hornet 125 contributed another 3,859 units. With no corresponding sales in July 2025, a YoY comparison isn’t applicable. Sales were 4.90% lower than the 4,058 units recorded in June. Bajaj Freedom registered 1,692 units, declining 11.37% YoY and 2.59% MoM. KTM recorded no sales during July.
Honda Commands Nearly 64% Share
Honda maintained a commanding lead in the 125cc motorcycle segment in July 2026, with sales of 1,80,615 units and a market share of 63.88%. Sales increased by 15.43%, with Honda adding 24,142 units over the comparable period. Hero was the second-largest OEM with 40,690 units and a 14.39% share, while TVS followed closely with 34,125 units and 12.07% share. Hero and TVS recorded declines of 6.28% and 7.73%, respectively.
Bajaj + KTM were fourth with 27,296 units, accounting for 9.65% of the segment and registering a 2.60% decline. Overall, 125cc motorcycle sales stood at 2,82,726 units, representing growth of 16.89% and an increase of 40,862 units. Honda’s strong performance was the key contributor to the segment’s overall growth.
