The production-ready 125cc streetfighter targets European A1 licence holders with liquid cooling, KYB suspension, ByBre brakes and a connected 5-inch TFT

TVS Motor Company has unveiled the Apache RTR 125 LC at EICMA 2026, introducing a new lightweight performance motorcycle in European specification. Aimed at A1 licence holders, the motorcycle combines everyday usability with a sporty design and an extensive equipment list.

New TVS Apache 125 Liquid-Cooled Engine With 14.9 PS

TVS Apache 125 LC is powered by a 125cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled DOHC engine, producing 11 kW (14.9 PS) at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It gets a six-speed gearbox paired with a multiplate assist-and-slipper clutch. The assist function helps reduce clutch effort, while the slipper function supports more controlled downshifts.

TVS has also confirmed riding modes, allowing riders to adapt the motorcycle’s responses to different conditions. However, the company has not detailed the mode names or their individual settings. Performance figures, including acceleration and top speed, remain undisclosed.

Streetfighter Design With LED Lighting

New Apache 125 LC adopts an aggressive streetfighter design, with sharply extended tank shrouds, sculpted bodywork and an exposed trellis frame. TVS describes its styling as having a forward-weighted stance, with pronounced shoulders around the fuel tank.

The showcased motorcycle combines metallic silver bodywork with fluorescent yellow highlights, including contrasting sections on the alloy wheels. Large RTR graphics, 125 LC lettering and the TVS horse emblem feature on the tank extensions. A rectangular LED projector headlamp with a distinctive DRL defines the front. The motorcycle also gets a tri-split LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators.

Images from the show reveal a small transparent flyscreen, handguards, a stepped split-seat arrangement and a compact low-mounted exhaust. A wide handlebar suggests a riding position intended to balance sporty use with daily commuting.

41 mm KYB USD Forks And Adjustable Monoshock

The motorcycle uses TVS’s Synchro Stiff chassis, comprising a trellis frame and cast swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm KYB upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock. Braking hardware includes a 300 mm front disc with a radially mounted ByBre caliper, alongside a 240 mm rear disc with a ByBre caliper.

Apache 125 LC rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with a 100/80-17 front tyre and a 140/70-R17 radial rear tyre. Dual-channel ABS is confirmed. Kerb weight, seat height, ground clearance and fuel tank capacity have not yet been disclosed.

Connected TFT With Map Mirroring

A 5-inch TFT instrument display offers multiway Bluetooth connectivity, full-screen map mirroring and turn-by-turn navigation. Directional controls visible on the left switchgear provide access to the interface. The combination of route guidance, riding modes and dual-channel ABS gives the Apache 125 LC a substantial technology package for its displacement class. Hazard lamps are also included.

New TVS Apache 125

TVS positions the Apache 125 LC as an entry point into its European performance motorcycle portfolio, particularly for newer riders seeking a motorcycle for commuting and weekend rides. The company has not confirmed Indian availability or pricing.
